A very special piece to me. One of my early attempts at complex humanoid sculptural miniature. Available for purchase for the first time.
This is an early adaptation of Atlas, they are far from perfect. Even though I don't consider it my best work, almost every aspect of it, I can do much better now. I am still very proud of this one. Making this piece unveiled to myself the complex things I can do with glowing polymer and no paint, and harmonized my skill and style within myself. It is a essential piece containing shards of my artist heart and soul.
This piece was made in 2022 and has been one I have kept for myself until now. A few fings broke off during a studio move accident. The fings have all been reattached practically seamlessly. I am still happy to keep them in my collection, but they long to be available to the right collector, so here they are.
Atlas is pink, lilac and blue light reactive polymer with gloss and mica powder dusted crown. A miniature bust with 8 hands, 2 hands holding a crown, 2 hands pulling/adjusting hair. 2 hands smoking and drinking coffee, 2 hands communicating. 3 eyes awakening.
Back of the base has an angled hole for screw mounting and 3 strong embedded magnets for mounting on a fridge or magnetic metal, includes a simple black polymer stand (not yet pictured) for displaying on flat surfaces.

Price has not been lowered because of fing breakage but I will happily give you a $25 store credit with purchase if you can identify which 4 fings were surgically reattached.
The price reflects the amount of work and attention to detail, as well as for time, care, supplies and extra fragile item shipping fees/guaranteed with the intention to ensure intact shipment. The polymer is generally pretty strong but the fingers are small and can be broken if dropped or crushed.
